Excellent experience from start to finish with our security screen door installation. Claire in admin was exceptional - professional, responsive, and made the booking and payment process seamless.

The installer, Ben, did outstanding work installing our security screens just before Christmas. His attention to detail and craftsmanship were impressive, and he left the area spotlessly clean. Really appreciated how efficiently the whole process was handled, from initial contact through to completion. The screens look fantastic and work perfectly. Highly recommend this business for their professionalism and quality service.

We received 4 x quotes on crimsafe and Davcons quote was minimum $6000 more competitive- I couldn’t believe it. Not only are they more competitive in pricing, they were the most professional, friendly and efficient company to provide the quote. When I notified the other companies we found someone else, they were willing to “try” and match the price, and I frankly wasn’t willing to give them the opportunity. I had to go with Davcon who were the most competitive and honest from the get go. It was a no brainer

The lock of the security door did not work, so I rang Davcon. A few days later, a man came, had a look and he said he would talk to the manufacturer. A few days later another man came and replaced the whole lock free of charge. I didn't have any trouble at all.

I bought 5 crimsafe security doors during July this year 2024 (the tax time), so I got lots of discounts too.
I am happy with their price and their service.

Not to mention before I bought the 5 doors, I did shop around, and Davcon was the cheapest.

For prices and service, I will stick with Davcon, this is the 2nd house that I put crimsafe doors in. I did put crimsafe in the 1st house in 2019, and I was happy with it. This time with the 2nd house, Davcon makes me happy again.

I don't think I will have a 3rd house, otherwise I will use Davcon again😁😁😁.

I had my whole townhouse 'Crimsafed' by Davcon. Things went very smoothly. The initial appointment for the quote was within days, the measuring appointment was a few weeks later. Then there was about a 8 week wait for the product to arrive, but communication was great, and I'm very happy with my new security doors, windows and doggy door (my dog loves the doggy door too). Everyone was really friendly and professional. The only thing I didn't anticipate was that the doggy door was quite high off the ground for my medium dog, especially since there is a bit of a drop on the outside, so I had to make a custom step for him (until I get a proper deck installed outside).

Davcon have just installed Crimsafe across my entire two-storey home. Every single person I interacted with in the company was genuinely lovely - very professional, incredibly respectful of my home (and dog!), and super efficient. The quote I received was easily the most competitive compared with other companies in the area that I contacted, and the final install process was completed meticulously (Ben took such exceptional care ensuring every door was fitted just right). Davcon recently installed 4 large Double Ultimate Crimsafe Sliding Doors to my apartments Balconies. Even though I live on the 5th level in the early 2000’s a burglar scaled the complex and broke into a few apartments in the complex. I know these doors will truely secure my home. On my previous apartment the Crimsafe kitchen window was jemmied without success. I highly recommend a Davcon Crimsafe Instilation. Jann N

We highly recommend Davcon. We have a renovated 100 year old house and were were not sure about the crimsafe look. The Davcon team explained all the options clearly and they were not pushy. The price was competitive in comparison with other companies in Brisbane. This is the most important comment. The installation team were amazing!!!! They paid attention to fine detail, went out and beyond my expectations to install mesh to custom windows and doors. They even made up a trim on a big stacking door which allowed the screen to blend in with the house. They navigated shutters and electric blinds and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Crimsafe is expensive but after a spike of crime in our area, we do feel more safe. In the attached photos, every panel of glass is covered. We have a mix of different types of crimsafe. From the inside looking out - you can't see it. When it is installed on the outside it looks dark on the outside but you can't see it from the inside looking out. We have also benefited from cross breezes throughout the house. Other than the price, the only negative of the Crimsafe is that it can slightly darken a room depending on the available lighting. I hope this helps you decide. The Davcon team are hard to beat. They get the installation right. They are respectful and keep you informed from start to finish. We wouldn't use anyone but Davcon.

We sought out three quotes from different companies and products for our security screens. Davcon was not the least expensive, but we feel we got more than our money's worth in both product and service. (Beware other companies quoting "CrimSafe First" as 'real' CrimSafe!)

From initial consultation through to final clean-up, Davcon was approachable, honest and friendly. They were very responsive to questions and feedback. They gave a realistic timeline for manufacture, but then had it completed and installed more than a week early. Would recommend to anyone!

Davcon Security Screens take a bow! In my experience, it is rare to find a business where everything moves so smoothly from the first step to the last. It all started with a friendly phone call to the office to ask about prices and other details. A representative soon popped over to do some measuring and give us an exact quote for two sliding door screens. When we decided to go ahead, two other guys arrived to do the precise measuring - down to the last millimeter, it seemed. And, finally, installation day was here. Two new guys turned up and they were just as professional and friendly as the others! Recommend Davcon? I think the answer is obvious.

I requested a quote online and was advised that Wayne will be visiting for a quote. He was fabulous, gave me various options on what I could do. He advised what colours are available (which is pretty much any colour), showed various product frames and explained the entire process. He also explained the security locks they use. Davcon Security Screens kept you informed of the entire process, the admin staff were wonderful. I dealt mostly with Samantha, she was very helpful with any questions I had. I then had Daniel who installed the products. I was amazed how great the stacker doors looked. I was worried that the Crimsafe mesh was going to leave the house looking dark however this was not the case at all. You can see out no problem, it lets plenty of light in your home. It turned out way better than I imagined it would. I went with the ultimate design. I would highly recommend this company to my friends. Very happy with the complete service they offered. The products they use are very high quality.

I've had two sliding door screens installed on my patio, and I couldn't have been happier with the results.

My existing windows/doors have a special frame, with each joint slightly sticking out of the main frame, making it difficult to install a secondary sliding frame on top. The team were really accommodative and after some further inspection, suggested a box-frame which would work around the existing frame, offering space for sliding doors.

The measurement was done meticulously, and we did a colour match to my existing frames. Despite my concern of a bulky exterior look, the screens look seamless and as if they were built as part of the initial build. I highly recommend the team at Davcon!

It was a pleasure to deal with Davcon. James the quotes man stood out in terms of his frank directness with producing a competitively priced quote & experience with details of Crimsafe products. James responded quickly with my queries and I felt he made things so much easier for me to decide to go with Davcon for the job.

Chris the technician who came for measure up was also experienced and efficient.

While there was a minor hiccup with the external spray paint job causing delays, and the admin girls needing chasing up at times, Matt the installer went above and beyond with his installation, and he took pride with the finished product. He even fixed the sliding door he was working on and helped me freshen up a couple of pre-existing panels, as well as mixing up paint to touch up on a small area of an old panel. I’d actually forgotten, but he kept to his word, which I was so impressed with. It was an absolute pleasure to have had Matt do the job. I wish all tradesman could be more like him, taking pride in what they do, as well as taking care of the quality of the finished product!
