How to Prepare for Your Yale Lock Installation

Congratulations! If you’re reading this, you’ve decided to install a Yale Smart Lock along with your Crimsafe Security Screens.

Installing Yale Locks is pretty simple, but to make the process even easier there are a few things that you must do to prepare for your installation.

 

Steps to take before your installation date

1. Download the Yale Access app on iPhone or Android
2. Create an account 
3. Read through the Yale Access Guide 

 

 

Things to remember before your installation 

• You must be at home at the time of your installation. This is because our installers will need to do a final set up of the lock through your app and Yale account. 
• If you’ve included a bridge in your order, you must have a power point within 4.5m of the lock. This needs no installation, just a setup through your app. Simply plug your bridge into your nearby power point, go to the Yale Access app and follow the installation instructions.
